Before you move, it’s good to take detail notes on everything that you own and the condition that every single item is in. Take a good inventory by boxing everything up and assigning each box a number. Then, make a list of all of the things inside that box. When you’re looking for all of your stuff later, you’ll be able to count the number of boxes you have and know that everything is there.
While everything is coming off of the truck, you’ll have the opportunity to count your boxes and quickly inspect for any damage to your belongings.
